I too experienced headaches when starting DIM, however it only lasted a few days and I read that experiencing headaches is from your body detoxing and your hormones adjusting. I have stoped and started DIM a few times (due to running out, and going on vacation without it). Each time I begin taking it again I get a headache for several days but it always passes.

If you can tough it out through the headache period (though this does not happen to everyone), this supplement is absolutely amazing! I was having bad cystic acne and it cleared that up. I have much better skin now. Additionally, I have endometriosis and this has helped regulate my cycle. My periods are now consistent, shorter, and much less painful. I have been taking it two years and I plan to continue indefinately.

Same can be said for echinacea or any other Immune Booster. It’s like adding gasoline to a fire. I’m not sure why this hasn’t been more widely reasearched.

I found out the hard way. This supplement gave me a terrifying headache – a type I had never had before. It felt like someone jabbed an ice pick into one side my head. I only took 100mg. I’ve read articles that state 30-50 mg is sufficient but I can’t find a lower dose.
