It certainly is worth seeing a practitioner. I’ve been seeing a holistic health coach who has been doing various testing and I’ve found underlying issues that likely led to my thyroid imbalance. Unfortunately, most conventional doctors just treat symptoms so the condition still exists even though blood tests come out normal (as was the case for me).

It might be worth seeing a doctor and getting bloods done. You may have a thyroid issue or a deficiency in something.

I sometimes make exceptions on vacations as well. Then, I return home and do an egg fast which is pretty much an induction type phase.

If you do it induction starts over. I personally go on a 4 day cruise every year and find keeping low carb so close to impossible that I just enjoy the 4 days gain a few pounds and start induction phase again

Are you continuing to lose weight or have you stalled? Sometimes fasts can actually slow weight loss as a fast may slow down the metabolism. There may also be an underlying condition that may need to get corrected. I have a thyroid condition that has made it difficult for me to lose weight in the past.

Thats it. I lost 60 plus poinds by doing 20 grams of carbs a day for 3 to 4 weeks then I took off a week and ate EVERYTHING. then I started back. did this routine for 4 months.

It she gives us sweet things like fruit and honey but makes them hard to find in the wild. When we get them we should enjoy them in their natural state. They are a treat. And they do literally make us happy (dopamine).
