Stevia has only been tested in test tubes against the Lyme borrelia burgdorferi spirochetes and cysts “in vitro”, this means in a test tube. Stevia also only serves to remove or disable the BioFilm which protects these parasites. Then you need the heavy guns to go in and blast them away. It is far easier to achieve high levels of Stevia in a test tube than it is to the furthest reaches of your body where these cysts and spirochetes hide. Absolutely ZERO testing has been done in a human or other mammal host using Stevia leaf extract. So again, this is far to soon to take action on. You’d be far better off taking your time and energy building your immune systems and making your body’s natural defenses work at their peak. There is one thing I have discovered in all my Lyme research to date. There is no magic bullet that will make you well. If you have Lyme and associated coinfections then you are at war for a long period of time and with complete dedication if you intend to get your life back.
Good Luck!!

Hi lisa, I grow stevia and am gonna make my own extract, the recipes I see call for alcohol which is a no no for lyme, I’m thinking I could dilute the extract with boiling water before taking? Any comments would be welcomed. Thank you and have a nice day. 😊

The recommended dose is about 20 drops taken twice a day which is given in this article. Taking it in water with lemon should be fine.

Sandra, I’m not sure what the recommended dosage is, but 4 drops of the extract is considered a serving. So, you wouldn’t want to take more than 3-4 servings a day.
