You combine the same amount of seeds and then add double that amount of hot water. Let the seed/water mixture sit for about 10 minutes until it gels. Then, add it into the recipe.

I don’t use gelatine as a sub. I prefer to use glucomannan powder instead which works well in about the same amount.
