It’s all about volume, not weight

Muscle is denser than fat therefore it takes up less space…it does NOT “weigh more”. Disappointed that you are perpetuating this myth…..

It’s a comparison of the density. Obviously 1 pound = 1 pound.

This is totally NOT true. A pound weighs a pound. Period. Muscle is more dense than fat, but a pound of fat and a pound of muscle both weigh exactly one pound. Because muscle is more dense than fat it takes less of it to weigh a pound than it does fat, but to say one weighs more than the other, pound for pound, is categorically false.

They didn’t say that. What they mean is muscle is more dense than fat.

Change your diet to 10%% Protein and 60% fat for 60 days and see how you do. Track what you eat!

Is that like saying a calorie is a calorie?

I’m having the same issue. I typically gain in the winter around the holidays. Not because of food, but because of the colder weather. The heat of the summer along with being more active certainly helps shed the weight. I resort to going for walks indoors now at a big shopping mall.

Prior to that, I’d been pretty good but the weekends had been ritualistic in going off course.
Over the summer I began walking a lot in combination with LC and lost 30-ish lbs (not exactly sure BC I haven’t weighed myself in 2.5 years). In September/October, the weight loss slowed quite a bit. I still make every effort to walk when I can but due to winter conditions, this isn’t always possible. Could it be due to the less activity/cooler weather that my metabolism has slowed? My other issue now is that it’s the holidays and there will be events/foods that will be next to impossible to avoid. I want summer back! 😐

That’s definitely not typical. Were you on an induction type phase in the beginning with carbs much lower than the second month?
