Keep Drawers & Closets Smelling Fresh
When you pull clean clothes out of the closet or dresser after not wearing them for 6 months, they don’t always smell as we would like! I have a simple hack to help you keep your clothes smelling fresh all year round! Put 2-3 drops of the essential oil of your choice onto a cotton ball and place it in the corners of your closets and in your dresser drawers. You can use just about any oil you like but I would recommend trying lemon, bergamot or lavender.
Pest Control
Essential oils are wonderful for helping to keep bugs out of your home! I have used peppermint essential oil to send spiders packing and it works like a charm! You can either put a few drops of a cotton ball or paper towel and place in the areas where the spiders like to hang out or you could add 2-3 drops of peppermint to your diffuser and place it near the problem area. Freshen Running Shoes
This is very similar to the idea above for keeping your closets smelling fresh. Again you are placing 1-2 drops of essential oil on a cotton ball but this time you are putting it directly inside your shoes.
